Glasses lenses can be divided into two categories

Glasses lenses can be divided into two categories, namely glass lenses and optical resin lenses.
Glass lenses include optical glass lenses and high refractive index lenses (commonly known as ultra-thin lenses), which have high hardness and good wear resistance. Generally, their quality and various parameters do not change over time, but the impact resistance and weight of glass lenses are slightly inferior to resin lenses.
Resin lenses are generally much lighter than glass lenses and have better impact resistance than glass lenses, but their surface hardness is lower and they are more prone to scratches. Resin lenses and coated lenses, due to their soft nature, should be careful not to allow the mirror surface to come into direct contact with hard objects. When wiping, it is best to first clean with water (or mixed with a small amount of detergent), and then use a special test cloth or high-quality cotton paper to absorb the water droplets on the lenses. In addition, coated lenses should be used with caution in areas with poor environmental conditions to avoid getting dirty and difficult to clean.
When choosing a eyeglass frame, in addition to price and aesthetics, it is important to pay special attention to matching the size of the frame with the pupil distance as much as possible, as it directly affects the intrinsic optical quality and wearing comfort of the glasses.
The identification of mirror frame quality can mainly consider the following:
1. A frame with good elasticity generally has better quality.
2. The mirror frame with smooth and glossy coating has better quality.
3. A mirror frame with smooth, small, and uniform solder joints has better quality.
4. It is better to assemble the components tightly.
5. The size and shape of the left and right mirror rings must be exactly the same, and the nose bridge must be symmetrical.
6. The frame should be comfortable to wear and not blindly pursue aesthetics.
